driving makes me more tired than it should

purchased a pour-over one cup coffee brewer to replace broken french press

made a successful sweet potato mash yesterday

still probably not going to tumble as in days past

rest day: feels inactive but gotta get dat recovery

I hung out with some deer today,

twice:

While trail running - they bounded away. Big big white tail on one of them.

While driving - it was dark and I noticed something on the side of the road so I turned on my brights, illuminating a dozen pairs of eyes. All does, a couple fawns. They ran away. Further down the road I slowed next to two does and watched from ten feet as they munched grass and looked at me. We stayed like that until a car came.

These came in the mail today and I am never taking them off.

Polarized, photochromatic (think transitions lenses), AND with lenses for being on the water. They were overstocked at REI and severely marked down. Shipping said they’d come tomorrow or later, after I would have left for school, but they came today. Everything in regards to these has gone right; a refreshing change from real life. The tint is like looking through a thin film of Mountain Dew. Only downside: people can see my eyes.
